Dragonslayer/Hidden Treasures

July 8-10, 2011

Barony of Montengarde
Calgary, Alberta

It's time to slay the dragon; it's time to take a stand! The dragon that was slain a year ago left her eggs hidden in the sand. Here we are again, to take this youngling in hand!

The Barony of Montengarde and Their Excellencies Beothuk of the Beothuks and Wilma the Still invite you to Dragonslayer/Hidden Treasures, July 8-10, 2011.

Our Heavy and Archery Championships will be held, as well as numerous other activities including the popular Friday night shoot, rapier, thrown weapons, children's events, a feast among the forest and a bardic fire Saturday evening.

Hidden Treasures is the largest moving archery tournament in An Tir! A true historical version of period hunting as is available to us in the current era which draws archers from around the Kingdom and beyond! Due to the mundane rules of the club, crossbows are not permitted.

Merchants are welcome to set up their tables in designated areas.

A roast beef supper will be held on Saturday night by the Calgary Archers Club. The cost of the feast is $15.00, and can be paid to Brian at the Calgary Archery Center, 4855 47th Street SE. Contact him at 403-255-6830 with any questions. July 6th is the last day to reserve for the feast.
