Dragonslayer/Hidden Treasures

July 23-25, 2010

Barony of Montengarde
Calgary, Alberta

The DRAGON IS LOOSE! The dragon is loose!!!

A fierce blood-thirsty dragon is terrorizing the peaceful Barony of Montengarde!! A call for help has been sent forth by Their Excellencies Beothuk of the Beothuks and Wilma the Still. Will YOU come answer the call!!

We have decided to face the dragon and put it down once and for all! The dark day will be July 23-25, 2010. Come hone your skills against this foe before facing the dark hordes of the Quad the following weekend!

Our Heavy and Archery Championships will be held, as well as numerous other activities including rapier, thrown weapons, a bardic/fire pit, A&S classes and competition and the largest archery tournament in An Tir (a 24 target roving range). As well, the infamous Night Shoot…which you have to see to believe! Held on the Friday night! And if THAT isn’t enough…we will also be holding a torchlight tourney to be held also on the Friday night!

See Montengarde website for more complete schedules and details.

Royal Rounds will be run on the field range throughout the weekend for those wishing to record scores. Due to the mundane rules of the club, crossbows are not permitted.

A roast beef supper will be held on Saturday night by the Calgary Archers Club. Costs are separate from the site fee, and must be paid (and pre-booked) to Brian at the Calgary Archery Centre. More information will be provided closer to the event date.
