Disclaimer: Principality awards are given for deeds which assist in bettering the principality. Before recommending someone for an award, please consider which level of involvement (local, principality, or kingdom) best suits your recommendation.

AoA: Award of Arms - Awarded by all Kingdoms
The Award of Arms is given by their Majesties to those who have become recognized integrated participants in the Society. Their Majesties of An Tir have delegated authority to their Highnesses to award this to individuals within the Principality. It awards the right to bear arms (armiguous). Individuals can write a letter of recommendation to Their Highnesses to recognize individuals who have become contributers to the society.

Elder: Given to those who have been Champions of the Principality (and Crown Principality or Region) of Avacal

The Order of the Elder of Avacal is given by Their Highnesses to individuals who have fulfilled their obligations as champion in their respected discipline. This award is given at Their Highnesses discretion. This award should not be submitted by the populace.

IM: Iron Maul: Given to the runner up in Champions Sword Tournament

IA: Iron Arrow: Given to the runner up in the Champion Arrows Tournament

IG: Iron Gauntlet: Given to the runner up in the Rapier Champion Tournament

SG: Silver Griffin: Given to the fighter and inspiration of runners up in Coronet Tournament

GG: Gilded Griffin - Principality award for Service

This award is given to individuals who have served the principality in some form. Individuals can write a letter of recommendation to Their Highnesses to recognize an individual(s) who has provided good service to the principality.

GF: Golden Flame (formally Griffin's Flame) - Principality award for Arts and Sciences

This award is given to individuals who exemplify excellence in the Arts and Sciences of the principality. Individuals can write a letter of recommendation to Their Highnesses to recognize an individual(s) who has enriched the principality with their skills within the Arts and Sciences community.

Bear: Dread Red Bear of Avacal - Principality award for Combat against overwhelming odds

This award recognizes individuals who have overcome overwhelming odds within the various disciplines of combat (Heavy, Rapier, or Archery). Individuals can write a letter of recommendation to Their Highnesses to recognize an individual(s) who has overcome such odds.

PKnot: Princess' Knot - Principality award for service to the Princess

This award is given by the Princess to individuals which she sees fit to bestow upon. Individuals should not send recommendations for this award.

PFavor: Prince's Favor - Principality award for service to the Prince

This award is given by the Prince to individuals which he sees fit to bestow upon. Individuals should not send recommendations for this award.

WC: White Claw (formerly Griffin's Claw) - Principality award for representing Avacal in an extraordinary fashion

This award recognizes an individual's ability to represent Avacal in a way that enhances the principality. Individuals can write a letter of recommendation to Their Highnesses to recognize an individual(s) represented the principality in an extraordinary way.

RO: Red Oak (formerly Golden Oak) - Principality award for chivalry and courtesy

This award recognizes individuals whose conduct shows chivalry and courtesy within the principality. Individuals can write a letter of recommendation to Their Highnesses to recognize an individual(s) for their outstanding behavior.

HG: Heart and Gryphon (formerly Griffin's Heart) - Principality award for Persona Development

This award recognizes individuals who have developed their persona through research and accomplishments so as to personify a more period manner. Individuals can write a letter of recommendation to Their Highnesses to recognize an individual(s) who has developed their persona is a more period fashion.

OF: Order of Fortitude (formerly Order of the Valorious Warrior) - Principality award that recognizes those who excel in the martial arts

This award is given to individuals who excel in any of the martial arts (heavy, rapier, combat archery, target archery, or thrown weapons). Individuals can write a letter of recommendation to Their Highnesses to recognize an individual(s) who has established themselves as exemplary within their discipline.

SL: Silver Lute (formerly Gryphon's Voice) - Principality award that recognizes those who excel in the bardic and performing arts
This award is given to individuals who excel in any of the bardic and performing arts. Individuals can write a letter of recommendation to Their Highnesses to recognize an individual(s) who has established themselves as exemplary within their discipline.

GA: Red Gryphon of Avacal (formerly Gryphon of Avacal) - Principality award for outstanding service in and outside of Avacal
This award recognizes individuals who do service year after year and who serve Avacal even beyond it’s borders, bringing glory to Avacal across the Known World.

GFE: Gilded Feather - Principality award for service of Children
This award is given to children who have served the principality in some form. Individuals can write a letter of recommendation to Their Highnesses to recognize a child who has provided good service to the principality.
