Introduction

This document was originally created as part of the Serjent's testing for the Barony of Borealis. As part of the Serjeant's heraldry testing for most Baronies in Avacal, there is a requirement of recognition of devices. This is militarily important as part of an ability to tell friend from foe on the Battlefield. Since the Baronies of Avacal as well as the Shires tend to fight in the same wars, the roll for Borealis, Montengarde and Myrgan Wood would be very similar, so to make things simpler and cut down on duplicated work, this roll covers all three baronies and can be used by all three in their Serjeant's testing.
