The following positions are open to anyone in the SCA who currently resides in the Principality of Avacal. If you would like more information regarding this position please contact the incumbent or your local officer. If you are interested in applying for any of the following positions, please submit a letter of intent along with a copy of your resume containing both SCA and mundane experience to Prince, Princess and Principality Seneschal and the current officer. Chamberlain (Deadline Nov 1: The Chamberlain is responsible for the maintenance of regalia, making an inventory of the regalia at the change of Reigns, and arranging storage for the Regalia. The Chamberlain insures the regalia and all other principality property in accordance with the directions of the Exchequer. The Chamberlain reports the inventory to the Principality Exchequer once a year.

Minister of Lists (October 31/2008): The Lists Minister is responsible for maintaining a roster of qualified fighters in Avacal who participate in tournaments and wars, updating the on-line An Tir fighter database and for organizing the lists at the Coronet and Champion’s Tournaments.

Seneschal (Deadline Jan 1: The Seneschal is the legal representative of a branch. Seneschals sign all contracts, make sure that things are done pursuant to the restrictions of all modern laws, corpora and kingdom law, work with the chatelaines to handle all public relations, and normally conduct the business meetings/curia. The Avacal seneschal coordinates the principality officers and branch seneschals.
